BUT (and is there not always one [?]?) she does have one particular crazy habit...for some unknown reason, she just LOVES to push the plastic water dish/basin-doodad around the floor of the catfeteria (see what I did there). So, at, say, two a.m., one can be jostled awake by the random woody scrapings of plastic on million-year old oak floorboards (see post title for further elucidation). Oh, there's no reason for it. Our friend Betsy puts forth the notion that M likes to see the water slosh around, or the colliding circles of displaced water puddling to and fro.
Whatever! I'm just sure I am being made to pay for wrongs in some past lifetime, and am bound to hear these nocturnal skronkings for the next million years! And I will be glad of it!
