it's up to me to say that the new Suede album (which is growing on me like moss) starts with the lines "So softly you'll run/from the sound of your brother's gun," which of course echoes the first lines of their first single "Won't someone give me a gun?/Oh, well it's for my brother."  Nice!

Of course I dread the Trump presidency and attendant end of civilization - but then the Clientele are supposedly recording again, and while I very much want life on earth to survive long enough to hear what they come up with, I'm not sure I will be able to take all the appreciative think pieces that will bubble up around such a release, when "they" should have cared the first time.  So.
