I have about thirty pages left in The Dog Stars, and, while my cultural influence and reach exceeds Oprah's, I'm not going to try to bully you-all into reading this.  I will say, though, that this book has made me think, feel and generally freak out in a way I cannot recall since, I dunno, Revolutionary Road in 2002? I have even refrained from my customary "checking with pudz on Amazon reviews" system because it it so good to me right now that I don't want to be dissuaded.  Also, with thirty pages left, I have NO IDEA what is going to happen.  Freaking!
