Stakes should cost seventy-nine cents, duh.

Christ on a cracker, I stopped to get garden stakes (I need six) and the Ace I went to (this being the work Ace, not my home ace with all my fave Ace dudes: Tim, Enoch, Farron, Renfield, Japheth, et al)  no longer had just a random pile of cut-by-them-at-lunch stakes; no, they had perfectly cut, Made in China (!), 2.59-a-piece ones. With UPC codes and everything.  BULLSHIT.  Will cut them myself.  Ack.
