Viber

One good thing that's happened is that I got Viber on my phone, with which I can text friends in Europe at the moment.  And the best thing is that it has a "[name redacted, possible someone who recently quit a band famous its uber-original "quiet verse/loud chorus" dynamic] is typing" feature so you can see if the person is writing back instantly, because you are a busy woman!
