Joey?

If you watch Hulu, you see the commercials for the 2011-and-out detective show Endgame, where the agoraphobic Russian (maybe?) chess maestro solves crimes from the hotel which he never leaves.  Etc. Well, that guy drives the wife and I nuts: who is this asshole?  What kind of accent is that?  Where is he from?  So I dutifully looked him up and damn if it's not the guy who played Joey on Big Love!  What?  So, in his weird "sorta-Slavic magician we loathe" character he is so convincing that we needed to look him up!  THAT'S acting.  I kinda admire him now.  He's some guy from Newfoundland. Maybe he can be in the Al Clouston biopic.
