Screencap era begins!

I have been at this blog, what, 25? 30 years? A hundred?

Anyway, I just today decided to play around with screencaps of stuff.

My watch battery has been crapping slowly the hell out for a month or more...when I touch the primo 1997-era Indiglo stem, it lights up (barely) but the second-hand limps back to life only when the light is safely out.

See, to get a watch battery, one needs to go to a jewelry shop and wait fifteen minutes while they find the right battery.

But no! I just found out that those stores like "Batteries Plus" and "BatteryHole" and "Shit Tons of Batteries" can fix a watch in, what? Three minutes? Plus I heard "Crazy Train" while I waited.

Who knows what other things one can do in these weird modern stores?

Ah am a southern gentleman, ahpparently

Two wacky sisters from Michigan had the girl-stones to tell me that I have a bit of a Southern accent. To their ears, anyway.

Am a bit freaked by this, but then again I do carry myself with a "Faulknerian" heavy seriousness. Gentility!

The Shitorialist

Not being the most overly tech bunch, the Bride and I got a digital camera LAST Christmas and didn't investigate it until, oh, May or so. But, now that I took a ton of pictures over the Christmas weekend, I am going to start using it all the time, so I can finally get all those shots which you don't even know you were missing, like the one at the adult store downtown that has a sign on its glass door that reads "50% OFF DENTAL DAMS". So, as you know, this blog is an ever-changing entity and this expansion should make for an exciting 2010 for all humanity!

Also, it means more posts, and done more easily. To paraphrase the liner notes to Peter Gabriel: Plays Live, the generic term for this process is cheating!

We will begin with a Xmas extravaganza!
