Strange weather yesterday

Yes, yes, all weather is "strange" because your mom used Pam cooking spray in 1983.  Whatever.  Yesterday, though, it was all deep-rooted pour-y down stormy storm, then, in the space of about twenty minutes, it was sunny and free of all humidity.

One minute...

The next, basically

Could not take it any more

The hippie in me drove past this piece of plastic in our parking lot here all week (it looks like a drinking tumbler, but is in fact some sort of light cover, as one would see on a Coast Guard vessel on a foggy day on one of our larger Great Lakes [?]) and this morning I could take it no longer and actually stopped and got out and picked it up.

Have been having a pleasant time playing around with scheduling of these posts.  Some of the posts you read are written and posted immediately; others are ever-so-exquisitely crafted so as to be put up at some unspecific time in the future (usually around 35 minutes later). 

I think they added this so I can remember to post a reminder in advance for John Cheever's 100th birthday.  DOING!  Okay, bye!
