Quite on accident I finally heard the Alabama Shakes today, on the radio.  It was as I had suspected it would be; sort of for people who miss the White Stripes, I think.

Then I got off my lazy arse and clicked on the Blood Orange record that I've been putting off for almost three months and it was great, just the sort of blue summer day lost Prince with New Order thing I wanted to hear, so I played it three times in a row and am, at long last, happy.
