Really?

Thought for sure I must have posted about the Sports Machine at some point, but a search reveals naught.  So: back in the late 80's and early 90's when I was pretending to attend college, my friends and I would, at the end of every long and lazy hungover Sunday, behold NBC's Sports Machine, hosted by someone called George Michael, though not that GM.  I think it came on at 12:30 am, but it may have been 11:30 pm.  Old George would show football highlights or what have you from the day, all the while leading into clips with such excited declarations as "Let's go to Talladega through the use of the Sports Machine!"
