Total heavyosity

Liberated this from a stack of free books.  Cray!

AUTHOR'S NOTE
In Tuned Out I have written of the summer of 1967.  In many ways, it was the summer of the "hippies."  In New York's East Village, it came to an end with the fall, and with the murder of two young people.  The summer of 1968 will not be the same.  Other summers will come and go but the summer of 1967 will not resemble them.  The "drug scene" is no longer centralized in New York or San Francisco; it has already spread from colleges and cities to high schools in the suburbs.  It will probably affect, before it too disappears, every young person in the country.  But we shall all survive that as we have survived other disasters.

Speaking of Annie Hall,

Shit is getting more and more Blade Runner, constantly

Was at Walgreens up the street last night and this was on the ground in the parking lot when I sprung from the truck.

I like the idea of some Russians in our neighborhood writing texting their aunt back in Minsk to say "Aunt Rula!  Send me some more POCTA(PO#KCNOPT!  Dying for that strawberry flavor over here in nowheresville!"

Ring found!

The Bride's wedding ring has been missing since...March, maybe? We kept thinking it was in the house, and it was! I had assumed some jagoff cat or other had batted down an air duct never to be seen again, and while one or the other of those feline cretins was the culprit, the ring was found at the back of the closet, and then only because I was considering which shoes to give away.

Anyway, found!

I guess I will start here

Cannot begin to cover the entire insane weekend today...will get some in, will likely take until Wednesday.

So where to start, then? Well, how about with the fact that I was given this five dollar bill in my change at the McDonald's drive-thru this lunchtime? I scanned it, which is probably a felony, and I can expect Tom Ridge to swoop down on me momentarily, but it shows to go you the lengths I will go to for you, gentle reader.

Rasputin's singlet, perhaps?

This empty can of Axe Body-varnish was inexplicably in our yard.

What the holy hell are "rare leathers?"
