An amazing correspondent forwarding:

One of our people was in Trenton, Ohio, a tiny town near here, and she forwards this nightclub signage.

Is that the moon?  Is the dog's head attached to an egg in some sort of genetics experiment gone terrifyingly awry?  And the right ear (looking straight on): the attempt at shading is very mysterious!
