That "playing card" look

Speaking of Don,

I was at the church across the street from my mYsTeRiOuS wOrKpLaCe and there in the basement was a watercolor of said church done by my dad in 1982!  Wait, what?

Helpful!

"Rain expected on a humdrum town..."

Bored at another mixdown

"What does this have to do with [Iron Man/Turtles]?"

"No pictures!"

My folks in the cute years

One of my brothers brought over a photo album I'd never seen of my parents at their most "Hey, let's get a sitter and go see Rear Window."  I'd never seen these!

Caption on the babies (now 58 and almost 60, respectively):
"Two fellows."

Blur verdict!

Did I give one? If not: better than the Gorillaz!

Also: I keep waiting for Sade to come on and sing "My Terracotta Heart."  Hasn't happened yet!  :(

The Night They Burned Down Great American Ball Park

You may have seen on the news that the steamboat funnel/rocket launchers
doodad caught fire.  We were there!  I tromped over many innocents to get away.
No.  It did smell like those snake fireworks from your kidhood, though.
And a fireman took a cell phone photo from the top.

Eww

"Yes, what do you have in a vitamin-pee yellow Reds cap, please?"

Moisture Farm

They were thorough with that soundtrack.

Reds!

Lufthansa, etc

Kraut on Italian sausage and peppers?  Yes.

Rattboy was there.

Weekend/10K

This will make you crazy: this is the 10,000th post on this blog.  Old Bea looks
like "you gotta be shittin' me."
A truly sane person would stop here, of course.

Seen:

The new Tommy Aaron!

That's Nana pitching.  Actually, he can really hit,
which is amazing.

The Way It Used to Be

Terrible picture, right, but here is the mysterious Well-Dressed
Lady-of-an-Age at Flying Pizza, reading We the Living.  No, really.

Also:

Bea spring collection (partial)

"I have charted a course for the Vineyard..."

(stencil)

Another wacky Philip Jennings disguise?

SPIGOT!

Going in at the garden!  And everything!

Dean Rusk returns

The bleary morning after

This looks like a social services levy ad from 70's Cleveland, as so many things
on this blog do.

Welcome to the neighborhood

There was a full can of Sprite in the truck, left over from a work
function...someone found it, promptly took off his shirt and
stood around yelling "HEY!" at the top of lungs.
Oh, Appalachia.
