The Door Repair Story

Have been missing the pin out of this door for months,
yes I know the hinge is in upside down.

Didn't fall out for the first years we lived here,
then it suddenly started.  Then the pin disappeared.
Figured the Bun had thrown it away during his
Everything Must Go In Trashcan phase.

After a last search of everywhere, went to Ace
last week.  They had no pin to fit, alas.

The other night, Kyle went in the basement to
look for something we could schlamp up there.
THE PIN WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE
BASEMENT FLOOR!

SOMEONE WHO IS SMALL AND BAD HAD DROPPED IT DOWN
A KNOTHOLE!

Full repair!  I'm sleeping better, etc.
