Over time, I had lost all but one of the screws that cover the handle assembly doodad on the truck gate (truck talk! it is my least vice). I looked on the Electric Bay and at fordparts.com for replacement screws but all the sold was the whole cover piece and assembly shebang for weird sums such as 184.85 (excuse syntax, writing under observation). SO I stopped at the local Ford dealer parts department and damn if the nice guy didn't just fish around in his tool case and just flat-out GIVE me seven of the screws!
