2. Wait for them to say "usin[g] up some vay-kay?"

3. Say no, just having a minor surgery.

4. Them: "Oh! Well, I hope it's nothing serious!"

5. You: "No, it's elective."

6. Them: "Oh, okay."

7. Then the hammer: "Yeah, it's something I have been wanting to do for a long time. I'm having a procedure to have my tongue roughened, so it's like a cat's."
