Advantage: Eugenides

Reading The Marriage Plot, for no good reason...I liked (hearted?) The Virgin Suicides, but Middlesex made me crazy.  But, and I'm only 115 pages in, the more I read this one, the more I like it!  Especially because of the "who cares?" aspect of the "love triangle at Brown, '82" plot. 

Well, there was one period detail that resonated: a character goes to another character's home and talks to her father about Abscam!  Yes, Abscam.  WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME ANYONE EVEN SAID "ABSCAM?"
