Not ashamed

I heard a story yesterday on NPR about Hollywood and their blockbuster logic and the interviewee said something akin to "the top line may look good but the bottom line not so much." It had never occurred to me that when using the term 'bottom line' it was about the sum of a column of figures, so much had this phrase been forever a part of the common vernacular.

I'm always learning new shit!
