Walking along the hot boardwalk put me in mind of Stephen King's old story "Night Surf" and made me want to re-read it, AND "Children of the Corn." Then, driving along a very winding and woodsy road for 18 miles, I wanted to re-read "Mrs Todd's Shortcut."
Whatever happened to this guy? Is he still around? I remember The Tommyknockers, but after that...
