Had some time to kill, bought some botanical prints for the bathroom (maybe this was Monday?  It was; sorry, still dizzy), but decided I was a grown-ass man and that if I wanted a steak for lunch I was gonna have it!

We'll meet again

 Our friend Tommy had a blog for about 11 minutes Back When Everyone Was Blogging called "I Crushed This."  He'd take a picture of a meal as it arrived, then showed the aftermath in a second photo.  In tribute to his pioneering work, here is my hanger steak with chianti reduction and parmesan tomato, with those same damn frites'n'aioli I promised I would return to later (thoroughness!).
