Loose/lose conumdrum

Was looking for a "hang loose" image
and saw this; was funny because, y'know,
straightedge

It's what?, 8:25, and I have already seen two instances of "loose" where it should say "lose."

As in: "If we are to loose this idea that blah blah blah..."

And to think yesterday I was optimistic for humanity!
