Pine Club 5

Placing in U.S. presidential folk lore only behind George Washington's cherry tree and Grover Cleveland being buried in a grand piano is the tale of how Bush1 was made to wait his turn to eat when on the campaign trail in 1988.  Two secret service dudes had to hold his place, because there are no reservations and one waits one's turn.  BUT - my first wife, bless her, worked for time at the record store that was next door and the staff all loved her, so we (more than once) breezed right in and sat down.  Hurrah!

I was Shah for a night!   Or something.
