Listening to one of those auto-repeating doctor's office infomercials that play on waiting room big screens, I heard that an eye doctor will go to 4 years of college, then 4 years of med school, then 2 or 3 years of eye school, then do a residency of another 2-3 years in a subspecialty, usually...but it turns out that ear doctors don't even go to school or even have to know how to read!
UNFAIR!
