"Watch it! There's a grackle in your fish taco!"

These birds are everywhere and utterly unfazed by human bullshit...they walk right on your table at the coffee shop, if you're willing.  Someone told me that Lady Bird Johnson introduced them to area and they have overtaken everything like kudzu, but I think that one's been through the telephone game. 

They caw and yowl and you can hear them through closed car windows.
