Sitting here listening to the reissue of Document, with the typewriter clacking away at the start of "Exhuming McCarthy," I was reminded that "Kiss and Tell" off Bryan Ferry's Bete Noire, also started with a typewriter. So I am declaring 1987 the Year of the Typewriter in Rock.Should it come up.
