The most popular post ever on this blog was about Drita from
Mob Wives and how my then 9 month old son would grunt excitedly at her (and other attractive ladeez). It had like 1200 hits or something, due to Yay!book. But when I said "Kim Deal quits Pixies!" no one seemed to care! Not about the news itself, just that it came from here. As I type, actually "real" PR apparatuses are at play to get the word out; various rock outlets will duly report this "solemn" news with a sense of gravitas. But I want you to remember you read it
here first. It's strange, I'm pretty sure that this blog is really the only vital information source there is. In fact, I'm con
vinced of it - I said it to myself while pumping gas this morning and watching a robin pick at a soda straw. So it
must be true, as is the Kim info.

Actually yesterday I did get a Google alert about your original post triggered by some people debating on some message board I'd never heard of before. One of them said "what does he mean NSA?"
