Speaking of rights being encroached upon,

here is my poor mower caught on a security monitor, while sitting forlornly by some paper-recycling bins on a shipping dock here at work.  It had come in with me today to cut the grass at the work community garden, but two inches of rain put paid to that.  Weather.com had had the chance of rain at 20%, which, as it turns out, equals 1 in 5.
