We are supposed to go to Chicago this weekend, but now there is talk of 4 to 6 inches of snow with freezing slop and rain and billowing sheets of cold, cold hellfire. To folks who live in places with six feet of snow nin months of the year, I may seem wimpy; but this sounds quite taxing. Just today I don't have my glasses with me so am typing this under the duress of weak vision, yet persevere. But how much can I be expected to take?

Have mercy, north wind
