The first rule of Follower Club, is that you never talk about Follower Club.
This is like "Slapstick" by Kurt Vonnegut, though, where the president is addicted to pills that he can't get any more of and he says something about "I didn't want to count them as they were dwindling, but I had to, they were so few."
