What I mean is: there is about zero reason for me to think the new (maybe? It may be from two years ago, for all I know) Foo Fighters song "Rope" frickin' slays. And yet it does! I usually avoid the sorta-math rock proffered here like the clap, yet this rules. Maybe it's Pat Smear being around the video? Bring back his segments on House of Style! Maybe the "sad prom night" rock chorus? Maybe cos it's named after Hitchcock's best movie?
I dunno; I'm as shocked as you are!
