Wow - the internet IS worth it

I recently reconnected with a friend I hadn't spoken to in sixteen years and of course we defaulted to talking about 1970's baseball players, as one does.

This morning he texted me to ask just what was Bert Campaneris doing in his 1975 Topps card, and I mentioned back that I saw a guy recently in my neighborhood who looked quite a bit like Lou Brock. Then, with a sense of obligation, I started looking for an angle for a post on the Campaneris card, etc, because, hey - free dummy.
