Down at SPUG Farms

Well, I thought that I was going to have to come down with a (borrowed) power lawn mower and cut grass for four hours last week at the ol' South Park Urban Garden, but mind was blown instead to see that the CITY had come and cut down the tall, waving, lilting prairie grasses (?) and had even gone with string trimmers around the beds!  EPIC!  Need to get an email address and say thanks, send pizzas or maybe even 235 dollar pairs of polka dot shorts for all involved.

Went down Sunday morning en famille and puttered about:

Shit kept tight!

A lovely bed of (mostly) lettuces!

Neighborhood feline (Hecate?) catching a break

This tree is 150,000 years old!  Maybe!

Lovely peasant girl bending to plant.

Poor city child, surrounded by pretentious
ephemera.
