Oh, man

So much to cover. Not sure where to start, so I will burst on the scene with: let's have a stop to folksy assholes saying "nice sleeping weather." Or worse, "nice sleepin' weather." Someone somewhere said this many years ago, but, just like "deer caught in the headlights," it has grown to the point that I hear some pinhead say this once a day, somewhere. And, being a fresh-air fiend myself, I probably have been guilty of it myself, at times (full "g" version, not the folsky gerund type). So I'm saying that I'm hardly without sin. But, as a people, a nation, a world: let it cease.
