A tree was blocking the Direct TV satellite where football is watched and the Direct TV Guy said they would be back on Monday to put in a new not-obsolete dish thingy. In the event, he actually came back out with a co-hort on Sunday and games were had and no one had to go to some family-friendly pub establishment to see the Vikings fuck up.
Here's the odd thing, though: the prior Direct TV dish was installed on 9/11/2001 (Kyle remembered the install guy then saying he had an aunt or someone who worked in there and that he hoped she got out. We hope so, too, Digital TV Guy of The Past!)!
The replacement was installed ten years later, to the day.
AND the guy who installed it was Marvin Bush! Probably.
