Glasses at last

I've been blind as a bat at night for about 15 years, but used to just put that down to being excessively drunk. Then that cleared up and my night vision was still terrible. A few weeks back, the jack to my Telecaster, which had been loose, just fell completely out and I struggled in the half-light of my friend's front room with a pair of pliers and had to actually move the lampshade for more light and ugh!

So, next week: eye appointment, then glasses. I tried on the Bride's and did not look entirely terrible and, while her prescription made everything seem like I was walking uphill, everything did look extra crisp.

And anything that makes things appear to be less humid is good!
