Saw that Mark Frost, TV dude of Twin Peaks co-creation fame, has a book out called Game Six, which microscopically dissects game six of the 1975 World Series, where Carlton Fisk famously waved a home run into fair territory by sheer force of the will of Boston's hearty Catholic population (or something).
Hey, Mark? Guess what? They won GAME SIX, sure...but then the Big Red Machine handed them their collective ass and won the series. So, um, blow everybody.
Also, I have to wonder if Frost and Lynchy didn't maybe get the idea for the Twin Peaks "giant" from the extreme tallness and gawkiness of a certain George Foster?
