Oh, God - American Pickers

I can see how a Saturday can be lost watching this show, as the episodes lap one after another at the shore of the cathode ray tube (?), but good gravy, is it annoying! Firstly, watching these guys try to rip off yahoos ["I knew this was gonna be a GREAT PICK - this F-Troop doomaflotchie I KNOW I can sell for 300 bucks, I'm gonna offer fifteen!"] is excruciating, given also that it's gotta be at least sorta fake, the offering part - as if these folks just happen to have a marble Jayne Mansfield only-five-hundred-made combination shampoo dispenser and arclight bombing raid homing beacon just, you know, laying around...

Secondly, that Mike guy - he reminds me the whole time of Chris Collinsworth, which is friggin' painful...
