Where I come from

Back in 1976, I went to Niagara Falls with my parents.  There was a sign about "please do not throw anything over the escarpment."  Both my parents thought this was funny/exotic: "escarpment."  What an odd word!, etc.

YOU probably grew up with parents who knew all about weird words like "escarpment" and "quesadilla" and "computer."

Just saying I'm lucky to be alive!
