Kinky

I thought I would/should give the Kinks another try. There have been other posts about this in the past...

I listened to The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society this morning, and it's not bad, but it's not Skylarking or anything (though it's always purported to be so damned pastoral) and it's recorded in that same crappy Kinks sounds as all the other Kinks mono-y fluff.

Things to do in 2012, #1: give Kinks another shot.
