Anyway, we will close our antiques series with this portrait of either a.) a lost love of Gore Vidal's, b.) a guy who got killed in a car accident after seeing the Pirates split a double-header in 1971 or c.) just another of those now-old guys whose sons have to incessantly chide them to take their pills*.
