Other people, apocryphally , go through friends' medicine cabinets to see if they have anything "good," have scandalous STDs, and the like. Bah! The refrigerator - that's where you learn something about people. One never knows just who will possess some oddball sauce o' the world that one will need to hunt down. Could be you!
Probably covered before but more that 70% in our fridge is condiments. All sorts of stuff from all over, because, as you know, all foodstuffs are just vehicles for the sauces. That's it!
So, now, I need to order this, which I heard about from a friend years ago - it's peppers that have sat for eight years, mixed with white wine vinegar and salt, and, supposedly, it's only been available to the McIlhenny clan, up until now. I can imagine them at the white-linen covered dinner table, cracking open great casks of this stuff, and then quaffing it down in icy iron mugs. Or something.
Anyway, need it!

Ah, but the McIlhenny reserve Tabasco is made with GARLIC and RED WINE! So, still not being sold to the gen. pub.! Argh! (Also, I'm thinkin' that guppy should have a Tabasco-themed name. You'll start a whole new baby-name trend!)
