Barn raising and its requisite sportswear

AND there are plans afoot to build a shed out back, on the little landing strip of gravel by our back fence.

Materials list to be assembled!

We can keep the bikes therein, and all the various other yard-y junk that is all in a dumpy little plastic phone booth that the previous owner left behind.

We went and surveyed the current state of things at Deconstruction Depot on Saturday, to see just what wood was available...and, in fact, our dude Matt over there said we could basically tell them what we need (for our shed and the additional 13 [!] garden beds) and they would save the stuff when the "August contracts" come through. Whatever that really means!

Then (I'm within bb-gun distance of a point - patience!) we saw out of the corner of our collective eye a whole set of jerseys like these:

Mine (hopefully) had a Yankees logo on the front and (get ready) DR CAT on the back of it!
Think of that! Dr Cat!
A mean old crone told us these weren't for sale, they had yet to be inventoried, and we dithered a second too long before making a dash to the sales counter. Ol' Witchy came out and said "You put those back! I said those weren't for sale!" and sheepishly we put them back in the fabled "to be inventoried" area. Dammit to hell sideways!
I will say a prayer to some foul desert god or to the nether demons or to the tree spirits that we get these this weekend, because, really, we're gonna need uniforms for building a shed. And if we don't get them, what, if anything will we wear?
