It pays to save every last speck of stuff you have ever touched

A few years ago, I was at the D_____ Metro Library's book sale and among the bags of useless crud I bought cheaply was a book about the Ohio Players...I thought: "Hmm, interesting!" It was written by a guy who had been in early permutations of the band, and hence stops around 1973...

Anyway, it sat and sat in a box through a move or two.

Well, turns out Kyle's friend Jay in New York is like the biggest Ohio Players/D_____ funk aficionado walking, so I fished around in boxes in the basement and there, under a copy of The Wind In The Door, it was!

So we can now mail it off to him and make his day!

Moral: never ever get rid of anything, because some friend of a friend of yours may want some piece of seemingly useless ephemera!
