Obligatory Dennis Hopper post

Wouldn't have normally, had a correspondent not forwarded this gem:

Hopper left the Apocalypse Now shoot physically exhausted, emotionally
fragile and and covered with open, infected wounds. Director Wim Wenders, who
directed The American Friend found Hopper to be "lethal, suicidal."
Throughout the late 70's and early 80's, Hopper continued his downward spiral.
In 1983, he almost killed himself in a bizarre "art happening" involving a
folding chair and 17 sticks of TNT. He finally hit bottom not long afterward,
when, after a prolonged bender, he was discovered naked in the Mexican jungle,
in the thrall of a drug-induced psychosis. He was immediately sent to rehab.

12-stepped by Jack Nance! Epic.
