Prior to all the rain and mucking about, your humble correspondent was fully stung on the ear by a friggin' wasp. The area wags all hooted and hollered that "the WASP had been bited [sic] by a wasp!" as they lit their Marlboros.
Anyway, the whole side of my head hurt for about twenty minutes. Today, about fifty-four hours post-event, the sting spot ITCHES. Weird.
