Thee Bat Halves

Actually, dude at the bottom (below) with the bat-like emblem on his unworried brow reminds me of our old basement combo Thee Bat Halves - Morgan and me on guitar (and I think Cory a couple of times), Poolman on bass guitar, and Chooch on drums, which he played behind (!) a pink lacquered Japanese screen, which went strongly against the traditional quaint idea that a drummer and bass player should have eye contact. There were several Sunday afternoons ca. 1998 that I can recall where a (shall we call it primitive?) unlearned and unkempt form of shit instrumental blooz noize crept up the stairwell at 112 Jones St. Forties and tubes!
