Talking to a friend from NC yesterday who does a lot of truck driving, he told me that
1) local mini-chain City Barbeque serves my precious and elusive Cheerwine soda ("But it's expensive there...")
2.) he HAS five 12-packs at home RIGHT NOW (!!! x 10K) !
3.) he will bring me one of the 12-packs!
4.) he can buy me more, and often, since he drives through the Carolinas and points south thereof often!
Funny how things work out if we stay alive.
As an old man near the end of my journey, this is a hell of a denouement!
