Three cheers to Black Box Recorder!

Most kids look like utter shit(e) these days, and the gang in Black Box Recorder will do something about it at their upcoming shows [for the unitiated, BBR is a three-piece from the UK lead by the brilliant and acerbic misanthrope Luke Haines (Auteurs, etc)]:

I LOVE the idea that a band will dictate dress/decorum. SOMEONE is taking a stand.

(also, after the dour Britpop hangover of their first LP England Made Me, the brittley (a word?) intelligent trio embraced Mammon and hired someone (I wanna say Max Martin, but that can't be right) to produce a radio hit for them, which they indeed duly received:
