Scary!

Drudge has a top-tier link to World Net Daily (!) with a guy who is a "famed pastor" (his life story was made into a movie with Pat Boone!) predicting very old timey end-timesy scenarios:

It will engulf the whole megaplex, including areas of New Jersey and Connecticut. Major cities all across America will
experience riots and blazing fires – such as we saw in Watts, Los Angeles, years ago," he explains. "There will be riots and
fires in cities worldwide. There will be looting – including Times Square, New
York City. What we are experiencing now is not a recession, not even a
depression. We are under God’s wrath. In Psalm 11 it is written, "If the
foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?"

I await a correction: "Wait - actually, I just saw Watchmen and then ate an anchovy pizza and dreamt this hackneyed prattle...carry on!"

And so far as "the foundations being destroyed" - get back to me when unemployment is 33 per cent. Or 10% of population croaks from flu, as happened post WWI.

In other words: man up.
