Ron Asheton is dead

I'm too dumb to have a real appreciation of the Stooges, but Ron's just died, and it reminds me of one of my fave rawk anecdotes EVER, which is in Please Kill Me, I think. Stooges bus crashes, or maybe goes under too low an overhang, everyone sent to the hospital...then, upon being let out of the hospital, the whole group wants to go see the crash site, so a friend drives them there, but actually they all panickedly scramble around looking for baggies of pills they disposed of before the ambulance arrived. This story is so rock as to be nearly intolerable.
